Desiree D'Allure is the primary antagonist of "Love is a Many Splintered Thing", the forty-third episode of the 1980's adventure cartoon "Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers". She was voiced by Sindy McKay.
Desiree makes her first appearance in the episode during a flashback in which Monterey Jack breaks up a counterfit cheescake ring that uses cardboard and shaving cream as the ingredients. Monty becomes infatuated with her at first sight; completely oblivious to the fact that the operation is run by her. Monty's love eventually spurs him to propose marriage to Desiree, but after his cheese cravings cause him to eat out the contents of a cheese truck on the day of the wedding, he finds her leaving town with a new boyfriend, Erol.
In the present day, Desiree shows up at the Ranger's Hideout and confesses that she, "shamefully", is part of the gang that the team had most recently fought, and that Erol is its leader. To prove that she wants nothing more to do with the gang, she tells the Rangers all the details of his next planned robberies. Because Monty is so lovestruck, however, he doesn't realized that he is inadvertently helping the heists to succeed, due to his incredible strength.
The truth is finally revealed one night as Erol's gang attempts to steal a rosewood chair from a musem. When when Monty starts asking too many questions, Desiree knocks him unconscious with her mirror and the gang takes him to the lumber mill, which acts as their hide out. Desiree divulges that it is in fact Erol who works for her, rather than the other way around. Tied to a log set to travel straight into a sawmill, Monty warns that the other rangers will put a stop to their scheme, only to find out that they have been captured as well. Desiree exits the mill with Erol, leaving Monty to die. However, some fancy maneuvers from he and the rest of the rangers allow them to escape.
Monty tracks Desiree and Erol to the airport, where the two villains (hiding inside of a crate) intend to jet south for a tropical vacation. Fortunately, Zipper manages to switch the shipping labels; sending Desiree to Canada instead, where her boss - a desiring the rosewood chair - awaits.
