Deonna Purrazzo is a professional wrestler best known for her appearances in WWE and TNA, having portrayed a villainess in both companies.

TNA[]

Deonna began wrestling in the independent scene in 2013, which includes serving as Mandy Leon's heel opponent in ROH's first Women of Honor match in 2015, which Deonna lost. Deonna first appeared for TNA at Knockouts Knockdown 2 in 2014, where she was defeated by Brooke Tessmacher. She returned to TNA as a heel at the One Night Only: Live PPV, participating in a Knockouts Battle Royal which was won by Awesome Kong.

Deonna appeared at TNA's Knockouts Knockdown 4 PPV in April of 2016, competing against Madison Rayne. Deonna started out acting as a babyface fangirl who would act starstruck over Rayne's moves towards her, but once Rayne's back was turned, Deonna turned villainous and attacked Rayne from behind. Deonna continued portraying an arrogant heel and was eventually defeated by Rayne.

Deonna returned to TNA on January 19, 2017, competing as a villainess in a losing effort against the returning Brooke Tessmacher.

WWE[]

Deonna also appeared for WWE in 2016, mainly on NXT as a villainous enhancement talent, losing matches to Asuka and Bayley. Her first main roster appearance came on the December 13, 2016 edition of SmackDown, as a planned opponent against SmackDown Women's Champion Alexa Bliss; only for the match to be thrown out due to Alexa attacking Deonna.

Trivia[]

  • Deonna was used as the masked wrestler La Luchadora in the beginning of an angle with Becky Lynch. However she is not considered to be the character, she is seen more as a stuntwoman, as Mickie James was eventually revealed as La Luchadora when the character was unmasked on January 17, 2017.
