Darlene Malton, aka Divine (Carla Renata), is a villainess from "No Humans Involved," episode 5.10 of CSI (airdate December 9, 2004). She is a prostitute and the cousin of Candace Malton, who had served time in jail for assaulting her abusive lover.

Candace was the mother of three boys--Kevin, Raymond, and five-year-old Devon--and after she was released, she picked up the boys from foster care. She left them with Darlene after Devon fractured his arm while in foster care, and gave instructions to not hand them to Child Services. Darlene was very neglectful and callous in her handling of her cousins; as she spent money that was sent by Candace on a new TV--money that was intended for the kids' care. She also locked Kevin and Raymond in a basement shed of her house, and regarding Devon, he starved to death under her care. The cruel villainess, after seeing that Devon had passed on, dumped Devon's body in one of the garbage bins, where a horrified Greg Sanders found him in the beginning of the episode.

A hair from Darlene's blonde wig (part of her Divine alter-ego) was found on Devon's body, and after getting her whereabouts from PFC 1st Class Phillip Riley (who was with her one night), Sara Sidle went to Darlene's place of business and acquired a DNA sample. Later on, Darlene was called back to the station, where her DNA and aliases revealed her ties to Devon. Sara blasted Darlene for starving her young cousin, only for the villainess to callously complain about how Candace "dumped" her kids on her, claming she did so with no money (which was later to be proven false). The evil Darlene claimed that she did the best she could, and regarding the whereabouts of Kevin and Raymond, she refused to tell them and demanded a lawyer. Jim Brass continued demanding info on Kevin and Raymond, promising the death penalty for her if they're found dead. Brass, Sara, and Greg found the boys in Darlene's shed, and after this, Darlene was handcuffed and arrested.
