Daina (Barbara Carroll) is the secondary villainess from the 1961 Peplum film, "Goliath Against the Giants".
Daina is the supposedly lover of the evil ruler Bokan (Fernando Rey). Regardless of her position with Bokan, she has much influence with him, and provides cruel ideas on hiow to deal with Goiliath (Brad Harris) or anyone rebelling against the evil ruler. Daina tells Bokan to send assassins to kill Goliath before he can return from battle to claim his rightful throne.
Eventually, a revolt takes place in the city of Veira during a coloseium gladiator fight.
While their kingdom is crumbling around them at the climax, Daina attempts to flee. She gathers up the crown jewels and is being carried off the palace grounds by her servants, when she is spotted by one of the guards. When he sees that she is carrying the gold treasure chest, he stabs her with his sword.
