Christine Thompson was the main villainess from "Fate Love," the penultimate episode of The Closer's fourth season (airdate February 16, 2009).
Christine Thompson was the wife of filmmaker Shawn Thompson, though she was revealed to be having an affair with stunt man Andrew Faber, who had worked with Shawn. At some point during their illicit relationship, Christine turned heel by enlisting her lover to kill Shawn, doing so under the pretense of wanting to be with Andrew. The villainess sent Andrew to track Shawn during his venture to watch a play known as Vermillion--a play Christine bought Shawn the tickets for, and it was after Shawn left that Andrew committed the murder.
Afterwards, the evil Christine broke up with Andrew, as her true reasons for wanting her husband dead was to live off his wealth. She used Andrew's devotion to her as part of the plan, and realizing that he had been nothing more than a pawn in his lover's scheme, Andrew planned to kill Christine. The greedy villainess was bludgeoned in the back of the head and placed inside her car with the engine running; part of Andrew's plan to stage Christine's suicide. Brenda Leigh Johnson and her Major Crimes unit found Christine in her garage, and though she was barely alive, Christine eventually died while hospitalized.
