The story -

An elderly female arch crook called Maude Anderson recruits women criminals, mainly hookers and gang molls, to create a ruthless "female Mafia." The gang are committing major crimes like drug dealing, armed robbery, gold smuggling etc in southern California. Small redheaded police officer Lacy Bond (Sondra Currie), skilled in martial arts, is assigned to break up the gang and bring them to justice.

Appearance and character -

Caroline Field is a tall, good looking white woman, slim with layered light blonde hair. She appears to be aged in her mid to late 20s. She wears a white bikini.

Frank Mitchell has arrested her more than once; he identifies her as a call girl associated with gangsters. She is short tempered, arrogant, bossy, thuggish, and ruthless.

Her gangster connections, intimidating height, ruthlessness, and mean disposition probably account for her leading position in the "female Mafia", rather than possession of any great abilities or brains.

Caroline Field's role in the story -

Five of Maude Anderson's henchwoman have the job of collecting shipments of smuggled gold from a sub in the ocean off Catalina island. Caroline is the lead girl.

The gang's large pickup boat is trailed by undercover cops Lacy Bond and Frank Mitchell aboard a much smaller vessel. Caroline recognizes Mitchell as a cop who has arrested her in the past. Rather than abandon the gold collection, Caroline decides to ram and sink the police boat using the villain's much larger craft - murder the cops interfering with their plans. Caroline pulls another henchwoman, Laura, into the cabin with her and shoves aside the girl already at the wheel, taking it over herself. Caroline guns the henchwomen's boat to try to ram the small police vessel. There follows a sea chase, where Lacy's quick thinking and skilful handling of her boat frustrate some of the criminal's attempts to sink them. Knowing they are outpowered and it's only a matter of time before they are rammed, Frank decides to try to board the henchwomen's launch. He manages to do this during another near miss. Seeing Mitchell boarding their craft, Caroline yells at the girls, telling them to get him. When Mitchell jumps aboard the criminal's boat, the henchwomen, armed with various makeshift weapons attack him. Despite their weapons, Frank manages to take out one woman completely with a punch and has 2 others decked. Caroline seems to have hung back from the initial fray, and it's at this moment she runs out, wielding a boat paddle - Frank had his back to her, and she lands a vicious blow on him, followed by another which soon sends him collapsing onto the deck. Other girls now join the oar wielding Caroline, and he's also assailed with a fire extinguisher, metal bar and a chain. Twice as he staggers up from the deck Caroline uses her boat paddle to smash him down again.

From the police boat, Lacy looks over in horror as Frank is pummelled savagely as he writhes on the deck. The policewoman leaps across herself onto the criminal's vessel. Laura charges at her intending to smash her with her chain, but Lacy parries the intended blow, and with a kick sends Laura careering across the deck where she is knocked out as she hits the guard rail. A brunette henchwoman rushes at Lacy wielding an iron bar, but Lacy swiftly deals with her and flings her away down onto the deck

Having quickly taken out 2 henchwomen, Lacy now turns her attention to dealing with Caroline and the other remaining girl, who still busy battering Mitchell to death with their weapons as he struggles, helplessly gasping, on the deck. Caroline's companion turns and runs at Lacy, intending braining her with a fire extinguisher, but the policewoman checks the blow and punches the criminal woman hard in the face - bawling, she's sent collapsing backwards onto the deck at Caroline's heels. Caroline stops beating Mitchell and turns. Finding herself facing Lacy a few feet from her, the policewoman's hands raised in a combat pose, Caroline looks furious as she snarls and brandishes her boat paddle. She launches a roundhouse swing at Lacy's head with her weapon, but at the last split second the heroine ducks... rather than smashing Lacy, the paddle cuts through the air over her head, causing the stunned blonde to be helplessly swung right round by the momentum. The redhead then leaps up booting Caroline's ass, the blow sending the stunned henchwoman floundering back across the deck. Scraping her rear against the vessel's guard rail, the rattled Caroline twists round again, lurching forward, she wildly flails in front of her with her paddle. As the blonde charges after Lacy, the policewoman dodges back... Caroline is too flustered and livid to see she's being lured into a trap as Lacy draws her across the deck towards the cabin. Here Lacy again ducks another of Caroline's paddle swipes aimed at her head (the blonde seems to have learned nothing). Caroline's weapon, missing Lacy, slams into the side of the cabin. The blonde now finds Lacy is right beside her and that she has no chance to use her weapon again... the female cop jumps back up and kicks out at Caroline, hitting her so powerfully it lifts the henchwoman off her feet, sending her crashing backwards onto the deck, the paddle dropping from her grasp. As the groggy villainess attempts to rise, she gets an ax kick slamming across her back from Lacy, driving her howling back down again. Moments later Caroline raises her head to see her opponent's foot coming at her...as the powerful kick smashes into her face she screeches, and is sent flipping right over backwards, thudding to the deck once more, probably knocked out. A triumphant Lacy briefly stands over the battered blonde with a look of satisfaction. Though much taller and toting a weapon, Caroline has been totally outclassed by Lacy.

Caroline and the other beaten henchwomen lying about the deck are now Lacy's prisoners. She delivers the female criminals to the police at San Pedro. Hands cuffed behind, Caroline and the rest are taken away into custody.

She uses a boat and a boat paddle/oar as weapons, trying to commit murder with them.

Fate -

Arrested.
