Captain Ellen Matthews (Rebecca Marshall) was a plot twist villainess from 12 Rounds 3: Lockdown. She was the superior officer on the precinct featuring main protagonist John Shaw and main antagonist Tyler Burke; the latter being the leader of a group of dirty cops who were hunting Shaw and attempting to set him up.
Matthews becomes convinced of Shaw's innocence and asks him to meet her at the back of the building. However, Matthews turned heel and later pointed a gun at Shaw, revealing herself to be aligned with Burke. Following her reveal, the evil Matthews called Burke up to where she and Shaw were, but at that moment, Matthews is fatally shot by Burke, who planned to cut her out of the operation and frame Shaw for the murder.
