Camden Destry (Kayla Mae Maloney) is the main villainess from "A Boy in a Tree," episode 1.03 of Bones (airdate September 27, 2005). She is a student at Hanover Preparatory Academy, and the lover of the episode's murder victim, Nestor Olivos.
Nestor was found hanging in a tree in an apparent suicide, though it was revealed to be a murder that was committed 10-14 days prior to the events. Camden's connection to Nestor was revealed via a videotape of the pair making love, which led to Camden being interviewed by Seeley Booth. She denied being romantically involved with Nestor, with her mother, Melodee, stating that she was too young to engage in relationships, only for Booth to play the tape, with Camden expressing shock over the evidence and that they were taped.
However, Camden's shock was revealed to be a facade, as she and fellow student Tucker Pattinson were involved in a blackmailing scheme, which had Camden enlisting Tucker to engage in a sexual tryst with Melodee. The tryst occurred in Nestor's room (due to Tucker and Nestor being roommates), and after they were taped, Tucker blackmailed Melodee; demanding $5000 for his silence. Regarding Camden and Nestor, it was part of the former's plan to blackmail the latter, but when Nestor threatened to expose her and Tucker, the pair murdered him by drugging him with ketamine and hanging him on a tree. The Jeffersonian group's second look at the tape revealed Camden's collusion, as she was shown giving an intentional glance at the camera.
Camden was interrogated in the episode's climax, with the villainess confessing to the blackmailing scheme and lambasting her mother for her tryst with Tucker. She feigned sorrow over Nestor's suicide, but at that moment, Booth informed Camden that she was under arrest for Nestor's murder. Out of desperation, the evil Camden offered to reveal Tucker's role in the murder and scheme in exchange for a deal, which was (assumingly) accepted.
