Caitlyn and Maria are the evil co-protagonists of "Trick", the third story in the 2015 horror-comedy anthology, Tales of Halloween.
The story begins with Caitlyn and Maria, along with their two male friends, Nelson and James, hanging out and handing out candy to trick or treaters. Things quickly change, however, when one female child dressed as a witch fatally stabs Nelson in the stomach when he answers the door. The three others now completely panicked, Maria rushes to her car, only to be ambushed and then butchered by several other trick or treaters. After another child murders James by force-feeding him rat poison, the now-lone survivor Caitlyn is now shown huddled down in a dark room. A closeup on her phone shows that she is deleting photos of she and her friends torturing abducted children by ripping out their eyeballs, tongues and teeth and, all while remorselessly celebrating the acts for the camera.
The lights go on in the room and the trick or treaters all rescue a girl strapped down to a table, who had her eyeball ripped out. Taking an axe, the child then approaches the terrified Caitlyn and drives the weapon into her skull.
