Bonnie Ritten (Brenda Bakke) is a villainess from CSI's second season opener, "Burked" (airdate September 27, 2001). She is the wife of Curt Ritten. who is a friend of Tony Braun--the son of Las Vegas mogul Sam Braun.
It was revealed that Curt was having an affair with former stripper Janine Haywood, with Bonnie finding out about about Curt's affair and holding resentment towards her husband. Bonnie met Walt Braun (Tony Braun's brother) at a party some time ago, and it was revealed that Janine was also in a relationship with Tony. While Janine was the subject of Bonnie's anger, Walt had his own towards his brother, as Tony had cut him out of the will. After glancing back at Curt and Janine, Bonnie and Walt hooked up with each other and aligned together in a plot to kill Tony, with the former doing so to hurt Janine.
The plan had the sinister duo entering Tony's home and tying him up with duct tape, after which they planned to force feed Tony an overdose of xanax and red wine. However, Tony's gardener appeared from outside and caused them to panic, leading to the evil Bonnie suffocating Tony to death and hiding out before they escaped. Janine actually ended up suspected in the murder, though it was never indicated that framing Janine was part of the plan. However, Bonnie's DNA on the tape and her earring stud revealed her as one of Tony's killers, with the villainess denying everything before the evidence was presented to her. Afterwards, Bonnie was arrested (off-screen).
