Bobbie (Pippa Scott) is the main antagonist in the 1967 episode “Apollo” for the action adventure TV series “I Spy”.
Bobbie is an international spy boss. She uses her subordinate Bronwyn (Nancy Kovack) to infiltrate the NASA facility.
Bronwyn goes to Scott and asks him if he is interested in getting some extra money to make his problems go away. She introduces him to her roommate, Bobbie, who intends to pay him $10,000 to steal secrets. Scott tells her that he will think about it and get back to her. After he leaves, it is revealed that they have kidnapped Margo as an insurance policy. However, Margo reveals that she was a paid actress, and she was not married to Scott. Bobbie and Bronwyn, decide to use this information to their advantage, since Scott and Kelly don’t know they know about it.
While Bronwyn goes with Scott to meet Bobbie, Margo is able to warn on a telephone to Kelly. When Scott meets Bobbie, he is told that she wants information on the booster engines for the next launch. She devises a plan that Bobbie will pose as a congresswoman, and Bronwyn is an under-secretary. Scott will get them access to the facility, gather up the data, and blow up the facility. They also reveal that he is expendable, since they already have the company car, the VIP access badges, and the information. Bobbie tells him after she reaches Santa Susana Test Facility, Scott along with his phony ex-wife will be eliminated.
Bobbie transports Scott and Margo to the freight cars at the railroad yard. They temporarily escape, but are ultimately locked in a freezer car that begins moving. Kelly is able to track down the car and rescue them.
Bobbie and two of her goons arrive at the Test Facility and gain access to the launch room. There they hold two senators and the engineers as hostage. When Scott and Kelly arrive in a company helicopter, Bobbie demands that they do not land. However, they are dropped off, and Kelly makes his way up the scaffolding toward the block house where Bobbie is holding the hostages. When one of the Senators tells the engineers to not follow her orders, Bobbie shoots him.
Before they can do the launch, Kelly is able to disconnect the cables, which disables the launch. With their mission failed, they make a getaway, with Bronwyn showing up with another helicopter. As Bronwyn holds a gun on the pilot, Bobbie and her goons make a run for it across the landing pad with the classified material. The two goons are killed in a gunfight, Bobbie is wounded, and Bronwyn is arrested.
