Ava Max as a psychotic villainess

Ava Max is a pop singer who appears as the villainess of her music video, Sweet but Psycho (release date August 27, 2018). The video opened with Ava seeing her presumed boyfriend walking down the sidewalk with and kissing another woman. Heartbroken and enraged, Ava had a destructive tantrum before texting her boyfriend inviting him over for dinner.

As revealed through scenes of Ava holding a baseball bat and throwing darts at a board with her lover's picture on it, Ava was plotting revenge against her unfaithful boyfriend. During the dinner, Ava poured a green drink into her boyfriend's glass, with the man drinking the concoction and becoming groggy as a result. After Ava angrily approached her boyfriend with a candle and knife, throwing the latter at the wall, he attempted to run, with the deranged villainess (now wearing a wedding dress) chasing after him with an axe. She laughs at him sadistically, knowing that he can’t escape from her.

Several scenes showed Ava terrorizing her lover, including tying him to a chair while she maniacally painted (even later putting paint on her bound victim) and tore up photos of him and his other girlfriend and backing him against a wall with a knife. The man attempted to hide from Ava in a closet, only to be horrified to discover a man's corpse; indicating that he was a former lover of Ava's that she killed. Ultimately, the video ended with the man passed out on Ava's bed (likely from the green substance he drank at dinner), with the evil Ava dousing the bed in gasoline before setting it and her lover ablaze, presumably killing him.
