Annette Burgess (Michelle Collins) was a villainess from "She Was Murdered Twice", episode 4.07 of BBC's Death in Paradise (airdate February 19, 2015). She was the CEO of it's-so-good.co.uk, an online travel agency. The episode began by establishing Annette as participating in a team building exercise on Saint Marie with five of her employees, during which she was found dead in her bedroom, seemingly shot dead.

Over the course of the investigation into her death, Humphrey Goodman and Florence Cassell learned that beneath her veneer of a compassionate and caring boss, Annette was in actuality a callous and self-serving businesswoman. In addition to frequently throwing verbal abuse at her assistant Sandra Kendrick, Annette was also having an on-again, off-again affair with Stuart Howe, another employee and the fiancee of her sister, Izzy Cartwright.

It was also revealed that newer employee Dominic "Dom" Claydon had come to Annette prior to his being hired by her, claiming she was the son she had when she was younger and given up for adoption. Wanting to keep the news of her having a long-lost son quiet, Annette offered Dom control of a new branch of her agency, its-so-bad.co.uk (which provided more hedonistic services to travellers) in exchange for his silence. This deal required Annette to steal the idea from Stuart, with the callous villainess threatening to expose Stuart's infidelity to Izzy if he tried to turn her in for her theft.

As revealed in Humphrey's summation, however, Annette had discovered the truth about Dom: he was really Craig Russell, who had been arrested for drug-related theft and shared a cell with the real Dominic Claydon, who told him about his parentage to Annette Burgess. After being released, Craig decided to use what Dominic had told him to pass himself off as him to Annette as a way of extorting money from her. After learning that Annette was onto him, Craig killed Annette in her bedroom by smothering her with a pillow, later shooting her corpse to make it appear that someone else had suffocated her to death.
