Angela is the main antagonist of the 1978 Italian sci-fi horror comic "Terror Blu n.41: Cactus Viventi" (Living Cactus). She was created by Carmelo Gozzo (writer) and Francesco Blanc (artist).
Set in Arizona in the year 1867, the story begins with a prospector having discovered gold on Native American property. The man is so excited by this stroke of luck that he begins shouting about his finding, which quickly reaches the ears of the nearby Angela and her two male partners. The three kill the prospector and plunder his valuable goods, and then quickly express a desire to claim all of the gold on the indigenous-occupied land.
After spotting a lone Native American, Angela stands back and watches with satisfaction as her two men rape the young woman. Immediately after, Angela takes her turn by beating and raping the victim to death with a piece of cactus. As one final touch, the villainess then takes her dagger and carves a message onto the stomach of the corpse.
"THIS IS THE FATE OF ALL RED DOGS".
Angela goes on to explain to her companions that this will cause a war between the Native Americans and whites to break out, which - due to the numbers of the latter - will end up driving the indigenous people off of the land, leaving it to be picked clean by the dastardly trio.
While all of this has gone on, two aliens have been closely observing from space. Disgusted by the cruelty, the first one, Ximoh, expresses a desire to intervene, but the other one, Ylok, reminds him that it is strictly forbidden to interfere in the internal affairs of planets outside the "Federation". They watch the funeral for the murdered young woman, and discover that she was the daughter of the chief, who begins praying to "The Great Manitu" to aid them in their revenge against the whites. By this point, Ximoh is quickly unable to control the feelings of injustice welling within him. He incapacitates Ylok and decides to grant the chief's prayers using the alien technology to transform nearby cactus into warriors that can fight alongside them. However, due to his inexperience, Ximoh botches the procedure, leaving the cactus with an instinct to kill all living beings that they come into contact with.
At a nearby town, Angela and company celebrate the first success in their scheme with a threeway, completely oblivious to the cactus that are fast making their way there. When the monsters arrive, a panicked Angela quickly escapes out the window, leaving her two male friends to die. When a nearby man attempts to stop her from stealing his horse, she takes his pistol and kills him and then rides back out into the desert.
Realizing the error of his impulsiveness, Ximoh frees Ylok and allows him to take control of the situation. The two aliens agree, however, that because things have already been driven to this point, that there is no harm in making one final intervention before setting fire to the murderous vegetation. Thus, they command every last remaining cactus to move straight for Angela, who is then brutally raped and killed. The story ends with the two aliens, as well as the Native American shaman, pleased to see justice finally served.
