Alice (Rinyarat Watchararojsiri) is a secondary villainess of Thai Drama Prik Gub Klur (Chilli and Salt). She was a close friend of Cheed, the drama's heroine, who worked at Cheed's father's car company. However, Alice was secretly envious of Cheed's family and fortune, and had an affair with Thewan, Cheed's finance, not knowing that Thewan himself was merely using her to aid in his plan to take over Cheed's father's company and take revenge for his late father Suthep.
History[]
Alice's backstory revealed that she was raised by her grandparents in the countryside. Desiring for a better and lavish lifestyle, Alice left for the city and eventually befriended Cheed (Chitawan) and Chaidee in the university. After graduating, Alice worked at Cheed's father (Jetana)'s company, after Cheed recommended her to her father. Although Alice was a proficient worker in her job at the customer service department, she slowly grew jealous of her close friend for being a heiress of a wealthy family, more so after she became enamored with Thewan, Cheed's boyfriend who also worked for the company in the management department, believing him to be a perfect man fitting to be her lover.
After a series of conversations, Alice eventually managed to ensnare Thewan and seduced him into having affair with her under Cheed's nose (not knowing that, in fact, Thewan was just using her as well in order to fulfill his revenge plan), with the pair using work as excuse to hide their rendezvous, with Cheed being none the wiser since she was currently troubled with Ding (Siam, the hero of the drama) the newly hired mechanic. Nevertheless, Cheed eventually became suspicious of their actions after finding Alice's high heels in front of Thewan's house (although Cheed was unable to make connection to Alice at this point), though Thanwit, Thewan's brother, helped him cover up by claiming that the shoes belonged to his female friend. Despite that, the pair's affair was witnessed by Ding and also suspected by Chaidee, with the latter came up with various plans to catch Alice red-handed but to no avail.
Eventually, Alice discovered that Thewan was actually having affairs with a lot of women from various companies (so they could spy the companies' movement for him) and began to harass them into leaving Thewan, much to Thewan's displeasure. Alice also started to grow tired of being in Cheed's shadow, and slowly gave "hints" to Cheed that Thewan was cheating on her, such as leaving her garments in Thewan's car and wearing the same shoes to the dinner party. The acts pushed Thewan to edge, resulting in him beating her up multiple times to show Alice her "place", which Alice used the injuries to try lying to Chaidee and cover up her suspicion. Around this time, Alice also deliberately avoid using pills in order to get pregnant and make Thewan "takes the responsibility".
Sometimes after, Thewan found out that Alice was pregnant with his child. Though seemingly able to calm down at first and calmingly told Alice to visit obstetrician to check out their child's help, it's revealed that Thewan believed that his child "shouldn't be born into such a disgusting world", implying a possible murder.
Toward the end of the story after Ding went missing after he and Cheed tried to discover Thewan's true identity, Cheed and Chaidee decided to interrogate Alice in order to force her to reveal her affair with Thewan and expose his true nature to Cheed's parents. Thewan, having enough of Alice's jealousy and her taunting him that he had to "silence her permanently" if he wanted to keep their affair a secret forever, lured her to their last meeting where he gave her "her last chance": he'll buy her everything she want and provide all child support, in exchange for her staying silent about the affair, which Alice refused. Tired of Alice's demand and having no use for her any further, Thewan had his henchmen Duang put her to sleep and murder her by setting up a charcoal stove inside her car, disguising her death as a suicide, much to the suspicion and sympathy of Cheed and Chaidee, who realized that in the end Alice was just another of Thewan's victim and pawn.
Fortunately, Alice's murder was exposed by Thanwit's video posthumously (after Thanwit himself was killed by Thewan in a heat of moment), revealing Thewan as a mastermind behind all the crimes, with Cheed and Ding arranging the funerals for Alice, Thanwith, Thewan's other victims, and eventually Thewan himself after he committed suicide after being cornered by the police.
