The villainous Alexa Cooper

Alexa Cooper (Tamara Duarte) is the main villainess of the 2014 Lifetime film Dead On Campus.

Alexa Cooper was the daughter of a prominent and wealthy congressman, growing up used to getting whatever she wanted. When she came to college, she became the head of Delta Psi Beta, ruling over the sorority with an iron fist. She takes special interest in Natalie Kellison, a freshman whose deceased mother was a part of the sorority.

During Hell week, Alexa assigns each sorority pledge a task, with Natalie's being to seduce shy student Sumner Williams. Alexa goes through with it and, while hanging out with Sumner at the sorority house, Alexa has one of her minions offer them drugged brownies. Sumner eats one and begins to feel the effects as Alexa and her cronies go in and harass him, covering his face in makeup. Sumner runs off and Natalie follows suit, disgusted by Alexa's behavior. The prank turns deadly, however, when Sumner crashes his car and dies.

Knowing what the consequences of their actions will be, Alexa convinces Natalie and the other sorority sisters to keep the prank a secret. It's around this time her motivation for targeting Sumner is revealed: He was the brother of professor Danielle Williams, who rejected Alexa for an internship. Angered, Alexa pulled the prank on Sumner to get revenge against her. She tells one of her sorority sisters that, while she didn't intend for Sumner to die, she believes that Danielle got what she deserved. However, Danielle becomes determined to expose what Alexa did, even going as far as to confront Alexa herself.

When Natalie's guilt becomes too much and she confesses what happened to Danielle, Alexa decides to take action to stop her. She has one of her sisters plant drugs in Natalie's gym bag before calling campus security to report her. Natalie is briefly jailed and Alexa hires an attorney for her, who tells her not to say anything.

One night, while Alexa is holding a party at her house, Natalie infiltrates the party with the intent of finding the video Alexa recorded of Sumner during the prank to use against her. But while she searches Alexa's room, Alexa catches her. Alexa then goes on to insult several sorority sisters, even going as far as to mock Natalie for joining the sorority in her mother's memory. Alexa also reveals how her father had a long line of wives, and how she often hid in her closet when he began shouting at them during fights. She then order Natalie to leave, but she then goes downstairs and plays the video she had secretly recorded of Alexa for the entire party, exposing her for the cold-hearted manipulator she is. She is then arrested for her role in Sumner's death (and presumably planting drugs on Natalie).
