Alchemy (Samantha Phillips) is a villainess from the 1988 horror classic, Phantasm II. She was a hitchhiker who was picked up by Reggie and Mike (two of the film series' protagonists).
Despite Mike's warnings about Alchemy after seeing her dead in a vision, Reggie insisted on taking her with them. Alchemy was heading to Perigord, Oregon, where her uncle owned a bed and breakfast. The trio arrived to see the building boarded up, but Reggie sawed their way in, and they resided there even after they rescued Liz from The Tall Man. After setting traps around the building, Alchemy engaged in a sexual encounter with Reggie, while Liz was abducted once again. Alchemy resurfaced in the film's climax, as she was having car problems. She hot-wired a hearse and drove to the crematorium, where she picked up Mike, Reggie, and Liz following their take down of The Tall Man.
While driving, however, Alchemy turned heel and revealed herself as a minion of The Tall Man. Her reveal came while Reggie was flirting with her, after which Alchemy twirled her hair and removed a chunk of her scalp. Alchemy gave an evil laugh at a horrified Reggie, right before she viciously attacked him while wildly driving the hearse, with Mike and Liz unaware of what was happening until seeing Reggie beaten and bloodied. Following the attack, the evil Alchemy tossed Reggie out and left him for dead, and the film ends with the villainess driving off with Mike and Liz, while leaving Alchemy's fate after that unknown.
