Ajedrez Barillo is one of villains of Once Upon a Time in Mexico (2003).
Ajedrez Barillo, a DEA agent who hired by Sands (whom She is often associated) to spy on El Marachi and working with the Mexico government is she was also daughter of Armando Barillo in the second half of the movie.
Ajerez had romantic relationship with Sands as her lover and she was inserted for heading the story of El Marachi's legend and love, Ajedrez helped her father to get plastic sugary even she betrayed Sands which allowed her father's doctor to gouge his eyes which left him blind. in the climax of the movie during coup against led by General Marquez with her father's help, Ajedrez comforted and taunted Sands after betrayed Jorge before she was killed by him after they were kissed.
